What we fix
If the part exists, we can usually fix it.
These are the repairs we do most often. They aren’t the only ones — what limits us is whether a good part is available, not the repair itself. Ask about anything that isn’t here.
Screen replacement
Cracked glass, dead touch, lines, black display. Glass and panel are replaced as one assembly.
Battery replacement
Dies by lunchtime, shuts down in the cold, or won’t hold a charge past 80%.
Charging port
Only charges at an angle, or not at all. We try cleaning it first — that fixes it more often than people expect.
Rear camera
Blurry, shaking, won’t focus, or cracked camera glass. iPhone only for now.
Back glass
Shattered rear panel. Slow, careful work with laser separation — priced accordingly. iPhone only.
Something else?
Speakers, front cameras, buttons, camera glass — ask. We check part availability and send you a price, usually the same day. Tell us what’s wrong.
Water damage too — as a fixed-fee assessment rather than a promised fix. The real exceptions are board-level microsoldering and Face ID, which we don’t take on.
Pricing
Every price, in the open.
Prices include the part, the repair, and insured return shipping with signature confirmation. No diagnostic fee, no “from” pricing, nothing added at the end. Where we haven’t listed a price it’s because the part cost moves — ask and we’ll check it for you.
Placeholder
These figures are computed from example part costs, not real
supplier quotes. They are here to show the pricing model works. Replace the
costs in data/catalog.json before showing this to anyone.
| Repair | In our hands | Total | Pay now | Pay after |
|---|
Why it’s split into two payments
Pay now is the part and the postage back — the money we spend before we touch anything. Pay after is our labour, and it only gets charged once the repair passes testing. If we can’t fix it, you never pay the labour and your device comes home anyway.
Our standard
Proof, not promises.
Anyone can say they did a careful job. We show you.
You see the whole repair
Photographed from every side before we open it, again when it’s done, with the function-test results written down. Most shops hand back a phone and a receipt.
You know which part went in
We name the exact part and where it came from. Aftermarket parts have real trade-offs, and you should hear them from us rather than find them later.
The price does not move
Find a bent frame or old water damage and we stop, photograph it, and ask you. We never carry on and bill you for it afterwards.
Insured in both directions
Back to you with declared value and signature confirmation, every time. We’ll show you how to do the same on the way in — the default $100 of carrier cover is not enough for a phone.
We use high-quality aftermarket parts unless you choose otherwise. On iPhones, Apple software flags any non-genuine screen or battery with a notice in Settings, and a non-genuine screen can lose True Tone. Face ID keeps working, because we transfer your original components.
Warranty
What we stand behind.
- Length
- 90 days from the day your phone ships back
- Covers
- The replacement part failing on its own, and our workmanship — anything we disturbed during the repair
- Claim
- Email us with your order number. If it’s our fault, we cover shipping both ways and redo it
- Turnaround
- 1–2 business days from arrival, plus part lead time if we don’t have it
What it doesn’t cover
- New physical damage after the repair — drops, cracks, bends
- Liquid damage after the repair
- A repair opened or attempted by someone else afterwards
- Faults unrelated to the part we replaced
Full terms are on the policies page. We are an independent repair service, not affiliated with or authorised by Apple or Samsung.
The proof
Drag the handle. That’s the whole job.
Every repair gets photographed the same way, from the same angles, before and after. You get the set — whether or not you ask for it.
Illustration. Real before-and-after photos go here after the first repair.
No reviews yet, and we won’t fake any
We’re new. When real reviews exist they’ll be here with the order number attached — the bad ones too.
Being early is a real risk to you. We’d rather say so than paper over it.
What you get instead, today
- Photos of your device from every side before we open it
- The old part next to the new one
- Written results of the function test — touch, cameras, mics, sensors, charging
- The tracking number the moment it leaves
Mailing it in
Three things and it’s on its way.
The full checklist comes by email when you book. This is the short version.
-
1
Back it up, pull the SIM
Case and screen protector off too. Leave Find My switched on — it protects you and doesn’t get in our way.
-
2
Passcode on paper, in the box
We need it to test the repair properly. It never goes into our system, and you should change it when the phone gets back.
-
3
Box it, insure it, hand it to a clerk
A box, not a padded envelope. Add insurance and signature confirmation — phone cover is void without it. Mark the outside “Restricted Electronic Device” and “Surface Transportation Only”, which USPS requires for any used device with a battery.
One hard stop: swollen batteries
If the screen is lifting, the back is bulging, or the phone rocks when laid flat, don’t post it. Damaged lithium batteries are prohibited by every US carrier — that’s a fire rule, not our policy. Email us and we’ll point you somewhere local.

FAQ
The questions people actually ask.
How long does the whole thing take?
Two to three days each way in the post, plus 1–2 business days here. So most repairs are back with you inside a week. If we have to order a part, we tell you the lead time before you pay anything.
What if you lose or damage my phone?
Your device is covered while it’s in our hands, up to the limit set out in our terms. We ship back insured and signature-confirmed every time. We’d rather you knew the exact limit up front than found out during a dispute — it’s written down, not buried.
Do you need my passcode?
Yes, and it genuinely matters — we can’t confirm the cameras, Face ID, sensors and touch all work without getting into the phone. Write it on a slip of paper in the box. We never store passcodes in our system, and you should change it when the phone comes back.
Should I turn off Find My?
No. Leave it on. It protects you, and none of the repairs we do require it to be off. Any shop that asks you to disable it for a screen or battery job should be asked why.
Will my phone still say “Unknown Part” in Settings?
If you choose an aftermarket screen or battery on an iPhone, yes — Apple flags any non-genuine part with a notice in Settings, and a non-genuine screen can lose True Tone. It’s a software message, not a fault, and it can’t be removed by anyone. Face ID keeps working because we transfer your original components across.
What happens if you find more damage once it’s open?
We stop, photograph it, and message you with the options and what it would cost. You decide. If you’d rather not go ahead, we reassemble it and ship it back — you pay the part we already bought and the return shipping, and nothing for labor.
What if the repair doesn’t work?
You don’t pay the labor. We ship the phone back to you at our cost and tell you exactly what we found. Some faults — especially after liquid damage — turn out to be on the logic board, and that’s beyond what we take on by mail.
Why do I pay in two parts?
The amount due now covers the replacement part and return shipping, which we spend before we’ve done anything. The balance is our labor, and you pay it after the repair passes testing. It means you’re never paying for work that hasn’t happened.
Can I send a phone that isn’t mine?
Only if you have the owner’s permission and you can unlock it. We don’t work on devices that are reported lost or stolen, and we’ll return anything that looks that way.
Do you fix water-damaged phones?
Yes, but we sell it as an assessment, not a repair, because nobody can honestly price liquid damage before opening the device. You pay a fixed fee and we strip it down, clean the board ultrasonically, treat the corrosion, reassemble and test it, then tell you exactly what we found.
It is not a guaranteed fix. Some devices come back to life, some don’t, and corrosion can keep spreading weeks later — so there’s no warranty on a liquid-damaged phone. If it needs board-level microsoldering we’ll say so and point you to someone who does that. Assume your data is gone and recover it separately first.
